Kia heeft zojuist officieel aangekondigd dat de compleet nieuwe generatie van de Rio zijn debuut beleeft tijdens de Autosalon van Parijs. Vandaag presenteer het Koreaanse merk een aantal designschetsen.
Op 29 september trekt Kia het doek van de vierde generatie van de Rio, middels een aantal computertekeningen blikt het merk vooruit op het nieuwe uiterlijk van zijn B-segmenter.

Kia geeft aan dat de nieuwe Rio door designteams uit zowel Duitsland als het Amerikaanse Californië is getekend. De B-segmenter zal in elk opzicht een maatje groeien, terwijl het gewicht zal afnemen. Wat designbetreft slaat Kia geen compleet nieuwe weg in, al lijkt de nieuwe Rio iets scherper en stoerder getekend te zijn dan het huidige model.
